Sasha, Bea, Theo, Mia: an illustrated night. Nita publishes no player numbers.

Put a box in before 10pm Central. It opens at 11. Open yours whenever you like, then see how your circles did.

Nita runs in Texas. The sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the State of Texas who are 18 or older and physically located in Texas. No purchase necessary. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. Eligibility and scope.

One night. Open it your way.

An illustrated night. Nothing on this page is live, and Nita publishes no player numbers.

Then you react, on camera.

After you open, keep a photo or a five-second video on your circles’ recap. Private-circle reactions also appear in Stories for a day. The share card is cut to story size, ready to share wherever you choose.

Legendary, on video
A share card over a photo taken from a car seat: a fast-food bag and a box of nuggets on the console, a car park at sunset through the windscreen. It reads Last night, Nita Gold, minus NG fifteen, played NG fifty, Rough, “Nita says thanks”. Then Sunday Scaries: one of four came out ahead, three didn’t. On the ladder, two of seven. Signed @bigmike, Sunday Scaries.
Rough, in a photo
A share card over a photo of a beach bar under a tree, someone at a table looking out at the sea. It reads Last night, Nita Gold, plus NG fifty, played NG twenty, Epic, “Somebody up there likes you”. Then Late Shift: two of six came out ahead, four didn’t. On the ladder, six of seven. Signed @thefifthjon, Late Shift.
Epic, in a photo

Three illustrated reactions over real photographs, drawn as the app’s share card. The names, circles and figures on them are examples, not anybody’s night. In the app a reaction is seen by the circles chosen for that box. A private box’s reaction stays with its owner unless they share it.

The same few people, kept.

Choose which circles see tonight’s box. Your campus has a circle, and private circles keep your friends close. After 11pm Central, open your box whenever you like and see how everyone did in the recap.

Circle Stories

Reactions from friends and private circles, kept for a day. Campus reactions stay in the campus recap.

Here’s what happened last night

Who placed, how each opened box landed, and the reactions people kept. A result appears after its owner opens, or a day after unlock.

The board

Standings by circle, for the week, the month or all time, ranked by prizes won. A record of nights that already happened, never an invitation.

Friends by code

A code you hand out by screenshot. Adding a friend needs no shared circle and no confirmation: a code you chose to share is the consent.

a friend code, hidden here on purpose

You can see the recap without placing a box. Circle members can watch how the night went. Placing is optional.

Campus circles are named for convenience and imply no affiliation. Nita is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any university.

Nothing on your phone decides it

Put a box in before 10pm Central. At 11pm the server draws each box independently. Open yours whenever you like; your circles see how the night went.

Mystery box

Five rungs. One lands.

One box, shared with the circles you choose. Or keep tonight just for you. Everyone opens their own box; nobody has to wait for a friend to arrive.

  1. Legendary
  2. Epic
  3. Rare
  4. Solid
  5. Bust

Five rungs. The bottom one pays nothing; the odds of each are one tap away.

The odds are published in full and read live from the same table the draw reads. Every box has its own independent result.

One is free forever. The other is never sold.

Two coins, and they are different kinds of thing rather than two tiers of one thing. That difference is the reason this is a sweepstakes and not a sale of chances.

Nita GoldNGFor play · never redeemable

The coin you play with. It arrives free every day, and it can never be turned into money or a prize.

Switching does not move anything. The two balances are separate and they stay separate; this only changes which one tonight comes out of. Nita Gold never becomes Nita Cash, in either direction, and neither can be traded for the other.

It is never sold, at any price. Mailed Nita Cash is identical in every respect to every other kind.

The two never mix. Separate balances, separate ledgers, and no way to turn one into the other in either direction: not by playing, not by buying, and not by asking.

There is no path between them in either direction, because there is no such path in the product. Both rules are enforced in the database, not in the app.

The app, as it actually runs

Captures of the real build, driven at device scale and signed in as a development account. Everything numeric in them belongs to that test account: photographs of the software, not of anybody’s balance.

The reveal screen after opening: a banner reading “The night · part of the deal”, the rung name ROUGH large in loss red over a soft glow, the caption “Worth it though”, then rows for the rung, its position against Even, the entry and the prize, and a row of preset caption chips.

Nita is not on the App Store yet.

It is an iPhone app, and there is nothing to download until the listing is live. Everything that governs the sweepstakes is on this site now, and reading it needs no app and no account.

The odds screen is deliberately not among these captures. It reads its figures live from the server on every view, and a picture of it would be a frozen copy of numbers that are only true because they are fetched. Read the real one.

You can play the sweepstakes without ever spending a cent

Nita Cash arrives free every day, and it arrives free by post. Write us a postcard and we credit your account, as often as you like, one request per envelope. Mailed entries get the same coins, the same games and the same odds as everyone else.
